Wet Family Room in Basement

This cozy family room was interrupted by a water-saturated carpet. This was a result of a sump pump failure. Luckily this basement is visited often so the owners were able to quickly notice it. They called us to get some help and avoid further damage! This basement was heavily furnished so we removed as much content as possible. We then proceeded to add a dehumidifier and air movers to dry the carpet. Dehumidifiers are extremely important with water losses because it will absorb the moisture from the air. Less moisture in the room, less chance of mold growth. Now they can enjoy family time once again!
