Fire Loss in Basement

Fire in Oelwein started in the basement and damaged wiring, PVC pipes, windows, and content. The fire's smoke and soot reached up to the upper floors. There was heavy damage to the unfinished basement. The production technicians sifted through salvageable and unsalvageable content and packed out what could be saved, filled a dumpster with debris and unsalvageable content, cleaned soot from every surface area, removed the smoke odor, swept floors, sprayed SERVPROxide to sanitize, and did some general reconstruction to restore this basement. The upper level had a strong smoke odor so we set up several air scrubbers to help remove the odors.
