Black Mold on Stone Walls
Look at this mold!!! Scary, we know, but it's not uncommon for mold to grow in your basement especially if it's humid down there. The stone wall inside this basement was covered with black mold in several areas. The moisture and pores of the cement can be a breeding ground for mold spores to settle in and spread. Older homes with an unfinished basement are oftentimes plagued with this issue but a dehumidifier and frequent checkups can help avoid the spread. Our team was able to contain the area, remove mold spores from the air, and remediate the mold from the walls.
