Floor Drain overflows in Basement

In many basements, you can find hoses pointed towards the floor drain such as your washer machine or dehumidifier hose. The floor drain should drain the water but sometimes, drains can sometimes be clogged by lint, soapy detergent gunk, or even tree roots. It's always a good idea to do a yearly maintenance check and have your floor drains checked. In the before image, the drain overflowed and water filled the storage room in this basement.
